LEO AND EILEEN FRENCH SCHOLARSHIP FUND
The Leo and Eileen French Scholarship Fund
Committed to Educating our Future
Founded January of 2003, the Leo and Eileen French Scholarship Fund was created to honor the founder of Placer Title
Company. In 1973, Leo French founded Placer Title with an important vision in mind. Mr. French had a strong background in the title
and escrow industry and wanted to showcase his talents by creating a company that was built on unparalleled service.
His dream: "To bring together a group of people who really care about each other and about their customers."
Mr. French believed that if this was accomplished, success would follow. His wife, Eileen, offered Leo support and advice, and together
they were successful in creating a company that was different. Over the past 38 years Placer Title has grown throughout Northern California, and under Mother Lode Holding Company,
has expanded nationwide. Throughout the years, Placer Title has been a leader in the community, getting back to the people who have made our success possible.
Although numerous contributions are made each year to various charities, Mr. and Mrs. French wanted to do more to thank the people who have made their dream a reality.
The Leo and Eileen French Scholarship Fund was created for those who have given service to their communities and have an interest in continuing their education.
All Mother Lode Holding Company employees' children are eligible for this prestigious scholarship.
The MLHC Lion's Award of Excellence is given to the two applicants who have best displayed service throughout their lives, whether it is within
their communities, schools, or any other official organizations.
People are the key to our company's success. The Leo and Eileen French Scholarship Fund was created to give something back to the people who have made this company succeed for over
thirty years.
Details regarding the 2011 Scholarship Fund will be posted in the Spring of 2011.
